History Aero
Aero cars are legendary Czech automotive history. Aero factory was founded in 1919 as an aircraft manufacturer.
History of development and production of cars in the automobile department of aircraft factory Aero is dated from the 1928th
In the autumn of this year, the factory owner Mr. Dr. Aero. Kabeš taken to the factory Ing. Bretislav Novotny and appointed him head of automotive design.
The main task of Ing. Novotny was to prepare drawings and inserted into a modified production car Enka.
The car company Enka Košař manufactured since 1927 and also sold partial success.
Drawings and production of prototypes, called AERO 500 was completed in early summer 1929.
AERO 500 cars were first exhibited at the Prague Motor Show, the 1929th
Cars are structurally different from its predecessors Enka. Were made only minor changes of mechanical parts. The main modification consisted in changing the body, designed by Josef Peanut.
Aero 500 cars were produced between 1929 and a1933 factory is offered for sale in 1934 concurrently with the modified model 662nd Aero
Aero 662 cars were produced in 1931 to the 1934th
Aero 1000 will be produced in 1933.
Production of small cars to large tour was completed in 1934.
Followed by production of a new generation of Aero.
Aero 30 was produced from 1934 to 1946 (break out of war).
Aero 50 was produced from 1936 to attenuation of civilian production in late 1941 and 1942.
Full Aero car production was the second World War II and restored cars last assembly was completed in 1946 (not counting model A150).
